Founder’s Story: A Journey of Hope, Strength, and Advocacy

Hauwa Adamu Kakudi’s Story: From Survivor to Advocate

Save a Life Cancer Awareness and Support Network was founded by a cancer survivor whose personal journey inspired a mission to ensure that no woman faces cancer alone or without access to information and support. Having experienced firsthand the emotional, physical, and financial challenges that come with a cancer diagnosis, the founder turned her survival into service — dedicating her life to awareness, early detection advocacy, and survivor empowerment.

Under her leadership, SALCASUN has reached thousands of women and adolescent girls through education, free screening initiatives, and community engagement programs across Northern Nigeria. Her vision is to create a future where cancer is detected early, treated promptly, and no woman is left behind due to lack of knowledge or resources.
